Modular chum

The Arctic is a stern land.
The idea of the project comes from the so-called chum - unique local type of building. In the conditions of permafrost, the construction of houses gets more complicated. Though the idea of building on water solves this problem. This model is a whole system, convenient for housing, work and leisure.
At the lowest underwater level is a pontoon made of reinforced concrete.
In the middle of the pontoon there are cleansing facilities.
At the first surface level above water are the public and work areas.
The second level is for residential area. It can be divided between 2 families or even a dormitory.
The third level (the highest) is the power unit. Outside of it are solar panels, which installed due south as an additional guidance in the formation of the village. Unit utilities also include heating, ventilation, electrics and water treatment.
Docking several modules enables fresh water harvesting (snow, rain).
Given the severity of the seas, it is preferable to arrange settlements in quiet bays. The modules are moved with the help of tows but if desired they can be equipped with their own engines. The module allows you to form any shape adapting to the local coastline. If necessary, it is equipped with berths for various swimming facilities.
